I am an experienced and enthusiastic workshop facilitator delivering creative reminiscence and narrative schemes drawing upon and liaising with local and regional resources: educational, medical, and other public social services including memory and therapeutic professionals.

These community engagement schemes creatively explore storytelling with a focus on, but not limited to history, place and identity using symbolic and metaphorical materials: sometimes they are connected to a larger project whereby my own three-dimensional artwork has also been made. Some of these responsive 3-D works have been specifically created to become educational pieces that can be interactively used in groups instigating discussion about a particular story, geographical place or issue-based theme. For galleries and museums this can increase audience numbers, similar to the concept of traditional loan boxes.

I deliver creative workshops on a commissioned daily basis in the north west of England. I welcome the opportunity to develop and deliver longer running schemes/residencies worldwide dependent on funding and time availability. Please contact me for more information.
