‘Party’ was written in 2009 as an integral part of the assemblage piece ‘Henny Penny’ created in response to the Blackpool hen and stag parties.

P is for Party,
P is for Part.
A is for Animals,
A is for Art.
The art of a party
parts play in a place.
A hen for the cooking,
a stag for the chase.
Chasing the challenge,
a chat up and cheer!
R for the ransacking keggers of beer,
T is for Triumph! For Trying and Trust
in the Y that’s for Yesterday’s day of disgust.
Disgusting in lusting, but boy is it fun!
Hens and stags cooking until they are done.
