World’s wife is an artwork created in response to The World’s Wife, a collection of poetry by Carol Ann Duffy. The base of the artwork is an old writing box, symbolic of the writer.
The work is collaged in cheeky images of Mr. World from a vintage game. The centre of the piece represents the poem “Penelope” in response to the story of Penelope as told in Homer’s Odyssey.
