Fleetwood Heritage Days

On the 17^thSeptember 2022, I delivered a drop-in session for people of all ages whereby participants made their own three-dimensional houses inspired by the artwork Fleetwood 1841. Stories about Fleetwood were shared and interesting facts about the town.

This workshop and Fleetwood 1841 was part of the From Nothing to Now is Fleetwood’s 3 year cultural programme as part of Fleetwood High Streets Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ).

Skilled as a facilitator, Kate brings the ideas from her artistic practice to the engagement activity that she thoughtfully develops and delivers. Our participants were inspired and supported by working with Kate through the workshops and engagement activity that she has been involved in. She has made a noticeable impact in this project in terms of how people can explore the past and how they can experience creative processes inspired by this in the present.
