This sketchbook was created between August – September 2020. I had never worked in biro pen before and decided to experiment. These drawings were not planned or sketched out in advance before doing the work. The drawings flowed and as I did them, I realised I was being guided by thoughts of the pandemic, the overall surrealness of the world situation. This sketchbook was done purely for me and was a very satisfying therapeutic exercise. Once completed, I also produced a poem to accompany it.
