Lancashire Not Forgotten

Lancashire Not Forgotten was an arts and heritage project recognising that people living with dementia are a rich source of information and social history. This was a collaborative project between Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council and uses shared heritage to explore three themes – where we live, work and play.

I worked the Blackpool strand focusing on ‘play’. Creative dialogue sessions were delivered including a day out on an historical tram. (See my own final creative responses)

Kate is a ‘people person’ engaging easily with the client group and colleagues. She embraced the project fully and injected a strong sense of fun. We knew we were in a safe pair of hands.
