During 2018, the charity START has been running the Reach Out-Start to end Suicide campaign. As part of this project, Kate facilitated summer sessions working with participants who have been touched by suicide.

The works were thoughtfully handcrafted. Participants considered their own personal experience translating it through painting, collage and words. Through a non-prescriptive approach each participant was allowed to realize their own vision and have their own voice. This work culminated in an exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery (October 2018) Kate curated with some of the works due to tour throughout 2019.
